The standard horror film is made in order to trigger feelings of shock or disgust. These films are made to be enjoyed in open cinema environments or a home-alone movie in the dark.
There are many types of horror films and they branch from anything involving horrific mutations, aliens and monsters to the psychopath, the vampire or the zombie.
