Location and Potential Hazards

Locations:

Georgina's home:

This will be the main setting for the main character as this will be her home. Much of the ghostly activity will occur here. The home is quite an old design so it will help add a gothic horror style element to our trailer which will help make it look more effective without the use of special effects or blood.

! The interior shots will be very safe as we are working on majoritally carpetted surfaces and not doing anything that involves any dangerous equipment. The only risk involved here is that we will be filming mostly in dark The exterior shots may be filmed on damp or slippery floor so we will need to test that it is not dangerous for anyone acting in the scene.

A field/dirt-track:

A small portion of our trailer will be filmed in a field or dirt-track where we can have the character fleeing. This section will be quite small and there will be little or no props to be used. This scene will be filmed anywhere appropriate as the specific location is not important to the general storyline.

! Being outside with camera equipment can be risky as it is expensive and the ground could easily be loose or wet leading to slips or falls. We will make sure that the filming done outside is minimal and involves having the camera safely held or planted into the ground to prevent grass or soil getting into it and also to protect ourselves.

In a moving car:
Part of the filming involves our character trying to flee her home to escape those that are haunting her, she does this by driving. The character will be driving to the location that is being used as the dirt-track so that she can feel safe.

! Filming a moving vehicle is dangerous and needs to be carefully planned to avoid any injuries or damages to equipment. Our plan is to have a person standing in front of the car as it is driven so we have to make sure the person is clearly visible and safe so that there is no chance of them being hit or hurt by the moving vehicle. There will be a thorough rehearsal of this shot so that it is clear noone would be hurt before we actually film with a person in front of the car.

Music Studio:
Filming in a near-empty music studio is a very easily controlled envrionment meaning that everything can be filmed exactly how we want it without much trouble. This will be used to show the theme of the trailer, being enclosed in a cell, with no way out
! The studio has some valuable equipment but this will be kept out of the way as to pevent any damages, other than this there is no significant risk to anyone in our team from being in the music studio
